In 2000, Dr. Ruby arrived in Australia to pursue further studies and soon developed a deep appreciation for the country. Alongside this, she discovered a passion for coffee and connecting with people. To immerse herself fully in the coffee culture, she began working in a café during her studies, learning the craft from the ground up.

This hands-on experience inspired her to establish an accredited barista training company, which she successfully ran for nearly a decade. Over the past Six years, she has been roasting and selling her coffee under the Dr. Ruby Coffee Roasters brand and operating her café, Ruby Coffee, for the same period.

Dr. Ruby’s journey into the world of coffee extended to judging and competing in prestigious coffee competitions. Her dedication to excellence has been recognise with numerous accolades, including 3 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals, and 18 Bronze Medals, which highlight her commitment to crafting exceptional coffee.
